Job Summary:

The Snow Removal/Grounds Maintenance Crew is responsible for resort maintenance and other duties/tasks that occur during the shift, including snow removal and performing various maintenance/repairs to the resort property as required. The position is primarily Snow Removal, and involves the operation of snow blowers and small equipment and, possibly, truck snowplow operation.  Throughout the remainder of the year, the role is primarily Grounds Maintenance. 

 

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $56,485.00 - $65,000 + annual bonus 
  • Employment Type: Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

  • Professionally manages the Association financial budgets and monitors financial statements. Helps to develop capital improvement plans and manages capital improvement projects. Helps prepare association budgets as well as department budgets. Controls expenses and revenues in order to meet budget objectives.
  • Builds and maintains a positive working relationship with individual department/facility leaders in order to develop a good understanding of the way their facilities can best be serviced. Ensures that the quality of maintenance, repairs, grounds and systems is kept at the expected standards of the Ownership of the resort and any other related parties.
  • Maintaining the grounds include primarily snow removal in the winter and landscaping spring, summer, and fall.
  • Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times.  Follow the resort’s etiquette guidelines.
  • Provide weekly updates and daily communication to all stakeholders.
  • Plan and carry out minor maintenance and repair tasks as part of regular inspections.
  • Confer regularly with immediate supervisor and various department personnel to plan and coordinate activities/projects (such as repairs), exchange information, resolve problems, etc.
  • Maintain tools and heavy equipment.
  • Follow appropriate safety and security procedures.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work standing for long periods of time; ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bending, squatting.
  • Able to use ladders to access equipment rooms throughout the property.
  • Ability to work around motors, pumps, and heavy machinery. Work will be performed around potentially moving parts requiring safety precautions to be taken
  • Valid US Drivers License is required. 

 

The expected pay range is $56,485.00 - $65,000 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
