BridgeUSA Summer Work & Travel (J-1 Visa)​

The BridgeUSA J-1 Summer Work Travel program enables college and university students enrolled full time and pursuing studies at post-secondary accredited academic institutions, located outside the United States to come to the United States to share their culture and ideas with people of the United States through temporary work and travel opportunities. Summer Work Travel participants are authorized to participate in the program for up to four months during the long break between academic years as determined by the Department of State. Extensions of program participation are not permitted.​

Vail Resorts participates in the BridgeUSA J-1 Summer Work Travel program for our summer and winter seasons.  Summer Work & Travel job postings will not be listed on our company careers site; applicants must apply through one of our approved sponsor partners. ​

Our current approved sponsor partners are: CCUSACIEE, & Globalwat/IENA. We do not currently accept applications from other international exchange sponsors or independent placements. ​

BridgeUSA Intern (J-1 Visa)​

The BridgeUSA Intern programs are designed to allow foreign college and university students or recent graduates to come to the United States to gain exposure to U.S. culture and to receive hands-on experience in U.S. business practices in their chosen occupational field.​

Vail Resorts currently offers Culinary or Service Internships through the BridgeUSA Intern program. Placement length may vary depending on the program and location.  Applicants interested in the BridgeUSA Intern program must apply through an approved sponsor partner.  ​

Our current approved sponsor partner is International Trainee Network (ITN)

Temporary Non-Agricultural Workers (H-2B Visa)​

Vail Resorts currently offers employment for eligible workers under the H-2B visa program for the summer and winter seasons. Eligible positions will be posted and qualified applicants must apply through our careers website.  Positions available may include Advanced Housekeepers, Advanced Cooks, Dishwasher, Ski Instructors, and Janitors.  ​​

Canada International Experience ​

Eligible workers who have obtained a Working Holiday work permit are welcome to apply for available positions at Whistler Blackcomb that are listed on our careers website.  Vail Resorts also partners with several vendors who support placements for applicants looking to obtain a Working Holiday permit.  These partnerships may vary by season.​​

Canada Work Permits ​

Positions for High-Level Certified Ski Instructors are typically offered each winter season at Whistler Blackcomb.  Eligible positions will be posted on the careers website and applicants must apply through the job posting. ​
