The perks start with a free ski pass, but as a Vail Resorts employee, that’s just the beginning. You’ll have a competitive set of benefits that you’d expect from an industry leader, along with non-traditional benefits that only a mountain resort company like Vail Resorts can offer.

Discover Your Uncapped Potential

At Vail Resorts we want to create the Experience of a Lifetime. Our continuous investment in our people and infrastructure support this Experience. By being part of our great team, you in turn provide this once in a lifetime experience to our guests. Vail Resorts would not be the premier mountain resorts company in the world without you. It’s never too early (or too late!) to start thinking about your retirement. Vail Resorts is passionate about helping employees plan for a “Retirement of a Lifetime” and the Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) makes saving for your future simple.

The initial match is 3.5% for eligible employees. The match increases to 4.5% for eligible employees who have completed 15 years of service with 23,400 service hours.

Free Employee Ski Pass

As a benefit provided by Vail Resorts, Employees receive a free season pass providing access to skiing and snowboarding at many of the resorts in our family. Full-Time eligible employee dependents receive a free pass while part-time dependents may receive the same access for $40. (Dependent passes not available for Holiday Help Employees).

Time Off

Whistler Blackcomb believes that vacation time away from work is essential to leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle. To that end, we require employees to take their annual vacation. It is our intention to balance out the timing needs of the organization and your annual vacation plans.

Whistler Blackcomb’s vacation accrual formula provides greater time away from work than prescribed under the Employment Standards Act; however, the Act still requires that employers ensure employees are taking their annual vacation each year. As a result, employees who do not take their annual vacation will have their vacation time dictated by their Manager.
