Job Summary:

Ski School Support Staff employees work in a fun, high-paced indoor/outdoor environment supporting all functions of ski/snowboard school operations outside of instruction. This role involves high guest interaction and supports children's programming, rental operations, guest check-in/out, lesson scanning, and lesson area lift operations.


Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $21.78/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
  • Shift Type: Part Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 14 years of age
  • Housing Availability: No

 

Job Responsibilities :

  • Uphold the highest levels of guest and personal safety in ski school learning areas, in varying winter weather conditions.
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading chairlifts and magic carpets (as permitted).
  • Clearly communicate instructions and assist children during lessons.
  • Assist with morning check-in and afternoon check-out, following procedures to ensure children's safety.
  • Supervise and assist with feeding children throughout the day, maintaining positive and courteous guest interactions.
  • Perform daily setup and teardown of indoor and outdoor facilities, ensuring work areas are clean, orderly, welcoming, and efficient.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Ski School Supervisor.


Job Requirements:

  • Attend Ski and Ride training sessions
  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must work well in a team
  • Ability to interact on appropriate level with children
  • Enthusiasm toward children Willingness to learn
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment
  • Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions
  • Must be available to work holidays and weekends
  • Must be able to lift, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach frequently.
  • Must be 14 years or older per our Kids on Lifts policy for all Ski School programs.

 

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $21.78/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
