Job Summary:
The Seasonal Entry Level Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day upkeep of resort buildings, grounds, and common areas. This role performs basic maintenance and minor repairs,landscape maintenance, trash removal, painting, and general cleanliness to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. The position works under the guidance of the
maintenance team and plays an important role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the resort.

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $25.83/hr 
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026

Job Responsibilities:

  • Always provide superior service to our customers (internal and external).
  • Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs around the resort (e.g., light fixtures, doors, locks, fixtures, furniture).
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting of maintenance issues and report more complex problems to the supervisor or senior staff.
  • Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, weeding, debris removal, and general grounds upkeep.
  • Maintain resort cleanliness by collecting trash, cleaning common areas, walkways, and outdoor spaces.
  • Assist with interior and exterior painting projects, including surface preparation and clean-up.
  • Conduct routine visual inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment and report any safety concerns or repairs needed.
  • Complete assigned tasks and work orders during scheduled shifts.
  • Safely use and care for basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Follow all safety, security, and company procedures.
  • Respond to routine issues and assist during minor emergencies as directed.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding job status, concerns, and supply needs.
  • Support the maintenance team with additional duties as needed based on business demands.


Job Requirements:

  • Previous maintenance, landscaping, custodial, or general labor experience helpful but not required.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance and repair skills.
  • Ability to safely operate basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Comfortable performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, walking, and climbing ladders as needed.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well on a team.
  • Ability to interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures.
  • Must be 21 years or older and provide a current driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Report- required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to complete assigned job duties and other tasks as needed during the season

 

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $25.83/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
