Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities:

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for assisting the Food & Beverage General Manager in training, and supervising all staff. 

  • Staff leadership: Train, supervise, and set the example for service quality, professionalism, and product knowledge. Support hiring, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Guest experience: Ensure every guest receives friendly, attentive service and resolve issues on the floor or in the kitchen as needed.
  • Operational management: Handle scheduling, payroll, inventory, ordering, equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Financial and administrative tasks: Complete revenue reports, tip records, manager logs, and other required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Facility and equipment oversight: Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment through inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Business performance: Help achieve goals in sales, service quality, sanitation, and overall Banquet appearance by fostering a positive, productive work environment.

 

Job Requirements:

  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • At least three years of Banquet Service experience
  • At least one year
  • Food handlers and beverage service permits.
  • Word, Delphi, Excel, POS system experience
  • English proficiency

Other requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License Required; Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, lift & carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

  • Broad, basic knowledge and skills related to banquet operations, including experience in ordering, inventory control, staff scheduling, check reconciliations, and similar administrative or management functions.

 

The expected pay range is $52,000.00 - $65,137.70. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
