Job Summary:

As Environmental Event Help, you will support essential waste management operations during concerts, festivals, and special events. Working alongside the Sustainability Team, you will help set up, manage, and break down trash, recycling, and compost services to ensure proper waste sorting and disposal. This role is a great opportunity to support the resort’s waste reduction goals while contributing to smooth, guest focused event operations. You will perform a variety of tasks throughout your shift and are expected to be flexible, engaged, and service oriented.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $22.92/hr
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 
  • Shift Type: Part Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

  • June 12, 13, and 14
  • July 2, 3, and 4
  • Various weekend shifts throughout the summer

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of event waste management, including but not limited to:
  • Engaging with guests and answering questions related to sustainability and waste sorting
  • Moving, servicing, and monitoring recycling and landfill bins
  • Setting up and taking down tents and event infrastructure
  • Supporting other departments as needed during events
  • Act as flexible labor support for various sustainability projects and events
  • Perform general waste management duties throughout shifts
  • Complete other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

  • Ability to follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure personal and team safety
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in seasonal environments
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (22.6 kg)
  • Ability to remain on your feet and perform physical work for extended periods
  • Strong customer service skills preferred
  • Availability to work afternoons, weekends, and holidays is mandatory

 

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $22.92/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
