Job Summary:
Organize, coordinate and supervise the daily operations of a specific age group of childcare, program or group of activities.

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $22.19/hr 
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 
  • Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available 
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age 
  • Housing Availability: Yes 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior service to our Customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow the Resort’s etiquette guidelines.
  • Provide a fun environment for other co-workers, parents and especially the children.
  • Work in conjunction with child care senior management to plan daily programs.
  • Effectively handle customer issues relating to the center.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and properly with children.
  • Perform opening and closing duties.
  • Required to change diapers and or accidents children may have Attend staff meetings and other special trainings.
  • Plan and carry out age appropriate activities.
  • Serve children meals and encourage autonomy.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene in children.
  • Provide a safe environment for children at all times.
  • Ensure rooms are kept in a tidy manner throughout the day.
  • Follow correct procedures during check in and check out process.
  • Efficiently communicate with other caregivers in regards to child information and care.
  • Work effectively as a team to be able to provide the highest level of expertise in all areas of child development.
  • Take initiative to see what needs to be done.
  • Maintain daily child report cards and review them with parents.
  • Provide a fun, enjoyable, and respectful atmosphere.
  • Ensure that all state-daycare licensing requirements are maintained.
  • Maintain records of children such as accident reports, registration forms etc.
  • Communicate with office pertaining to revenue payments and drop-ins.
  • Alert management when supplies are low and toys or equipment is worn.
  • Provide information such as daily rates and activities to guests when appropriate.
  • Perform other related jobs as necessary.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Daily lifting and bending.
  • Standing, hiking or walking.
  • Tolerate hot and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to tolerate high levels of stress and high levels of noise.
  • High School education, with 6 months of childcare experience or study in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare program development and implementation.
  • Enjoyment of and enthusiasm for childcare.
  • Excellent team building and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • CPR, first aid and food handlers training, with certification desirable.
  • Ability to pass a background check and TB test

 

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $22.19/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
