Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant supports ski race and competition programs by managing memberships, locker assignments, communications, scheduling, financial records, and administrative needs for coaches and race staff. This role also assists with competitive events, provides excellent guest service, and helps ensure the smooth operation of race programs in a fast-paced mountain environment. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, along with advanced skiing or snowboarding ability, are required. 

Job Specifications:
  

  • Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr 

  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027  

  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 

  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  

  • Housing Availability: Yes  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing phone calls and communication from calls to the Race Director and coaching staff
  • Responsible for the processing of new and old memberships
  • Responsible for the processing of locker assignments
  • Responsible for the proper handling of all monies regarding memberships and lockers and proper reconciliation with accounting
  • Responsible for communication with clubs and other race organizations regarding scheduling and changes as directed by the Competition Director
  • Responsible for the secretarial needs of the coaching staff
  • Responsible for the management and proper running of the Innkeeper Series
  • Attend management training sessions
  • Responsible for assisting the needs of the department during competitive events

 

Job Requirements:

Skills (to include the following):

  • Computer friendly with spreadsheet knowledge
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to use The Split Second Timing System and assist with the running of all competitive events
  • Familiarity with the NASTAR System
  • Familiarity with all the competitive programs
  • Commitment to guest service
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at an advanced level

Physical Demands (to include, but not limited to the following):

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds (medium lifting)
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Certifications/Diplomas/Prerequisites:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license

 

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
