Job Summary:

The General Manager provides an entrepreneurial spirit & personality in the operation by bringing organizational skills, leadership and a warm friendly presence in the quick serve restaurant environment.  Responsible for the daily operation of a food and beverage outlet, including but not limited to planning, directing, and organizing staff.  A crucial part of this position is to create new and retain existing clientele. 

 

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Develop job descriptions, service guidelines, conducts training sessions and schedules staff.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring and separating food service personnel.
  • Oversees merchandising and sales of all food and beverage.
  • Responsible for the accurate completion of daily reporting and cash drops.
  • Responsible for ordering and receiving product and completing monthly inventories in allotted time.
  • Ensures that all sanitation and safety policies are being enforced.
  • Monitors the preparation and presentation of all food and beverage served.
  • Maintains all cash and company assets in a secure manner.
  • Complete, verify and submit payroll accurately and on time.
  • Monitors all costs and to maintain cost of sales, labor, operating and overhead expenses within budgeted guidelines.
  • Responsible for achieving guest service goals.
  • Develop and maintain wine list and inventories within service and budgetary guidelines.
  • Responsible for capital planning and implementation.
  • Maintain facilities and equipment in good condition.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelors or Culinary degree preferred
  • ServSafe certification or regional equivalent (can be obtained once started)
  • 5+ years of Café experience with 1+ years of supervisory experience required
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a shift, lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English; bilingual preferred
  • Ability to ski or snowboard strongly preferred

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure/high volume and solve customer problems or issues.
  • Good organization and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, guests, and customers to provide excellent service.

 

The expected pay range is $68,640 - $78,000 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
