Job Summary

The Spa Manager at Alpenglow Spa will lead all aspects of daily spa operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, staff performance, and strategic business growth. This role involves hands-on leadership, driving treatment and retail revenue, overseeing team training and scheduling, and elevating the spa's reputation as the leading wellness destination in the region.

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $56,485.00 - $65,000.00+ annual bonus

Job Responsibilities:


Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the spa, including treatment coordination, guest bookings, and software systems.
  • Ensure seamless communication between reception, therapists, and support teams.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and functionality across all spa facilities.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and develop a high-performing team of therapists and front-of-house staff.
  • Lead regular training in treatment quality, customer care, professionalism, and sales performance.
  • Conduct regular team appraisals, schedule planning, and performance feedback.

Revenue & Business Development

  • Maximize treatment room utilization, package sales, and retail performance.
  • Develop strategic marketing and outreach initiatives to attract hotel guests and local clientele.
  • Generate and present weekly performance and revenue reports to the Spa Director and executive team.
  • Lead promotional campaigns, seasonal offerings, and loyalty programs.

Guest Experience & Service Standards

  • Ensure an exceptional, relaxing guest experience aligned with Alpenglow Spa’s luxury standards.
  • Address and resolve guest feedback with professionalism and care.

Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain strict adherence to all local health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Oversee inventory control and secure handling of products, equipment, and spa finances.
  • Implement and improve systems, policies, and procedures for continued operational excellence.


Job Requirements: 

  • 2–3 years of spa management or senior supervisory experience in a luxury wellness setting
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Business-minded with proven experience in sales growth, budgeting, and reporting
  • Proficiency in spa booking software and digital communication tools
  • Deep understanding of spa treatments, product retailing, and hospitality trends
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Customer-focused with a calm, approachable, and professional demeanor

 

 

The expected pay range is $56,485.00 - $65,000.00+ annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
