We're looking for a kindred spirit who will be inspired to create dynamic, strategic and effective leadership for the Sales operations of Kindred Resort, a new, elevated luxury property located at the base of Keystone Resort in Colorado.

Job Summary:

The Reservation & Leisure Sales Manager at Kindred Resort plays a dual role overseeing both individual reservations strategy and luxury leisure travel sales. This position is responsible for maximizing revenue through strategic account development, effective call center operations, and personalized guest communication, all while delivering a seamless and elevated guest experience from booking through arrival. This role reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and works closely with marketing, revenue, front office, and ownership services to optimize bookings and curate premium experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

Leisure Sales:

  • Cultivate and grow relationships with high-value leisure clients, luxury travel advisors, wholesalers, consortia, and strategic travel partners.
  • Represent Kindred Resort at targeted industry events and luxury travel trade shows
  • Develop and execute action plans to grow production from top travel agency accounts and retail networks.
  • Monitor trends, account production, and shift strategies based on evolving travel patterns.
  • Collaborate on experiential packages and promotions in partnership with the marketing team to align with brand voice and seasonal demand.
  • Host FAMs, site inspections, and VIP experiences for key accounts and prospects.
     

Reservations Oversight:

  • Oversee day-to-day reservations operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and luxury service standards.
  • Manage guest inquiries, special requests, booking modifications, and cancellation escalations with care and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate availability and rate inventory in all systems, partnering closely with Revenue and Marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with ownership services on owner/partner reservations, blackout dates, and benefit usage.
  • Ensure reservation confirmations and pre-arrival communications reflect brand tone and guest personalization.
     

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Participate in weekly sales and revenue meetings to contribute market intelligence and booking trends.
  • Partner with revenue leadership to forecast occupancy, set leisure rate strategy, and evaluate business mix by segment.
  • Train and develop reservation agents or front-line sales support as needed for luxury service delivery.

Job Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in hospitality reservations, leisure sales, or guest services.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with hotel PMS/CRS systems (e.g., SynXis, MARSHA, or similar).
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
  • High attention to detail, organized, and solution-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
     

Preferred

  • Experience in luxury hospitality and/or resort sales
  • Familiarity with Cvent, Virtuoso, Signature, or other travel consortia
  • Bilingual in Spanish or other languages.
  • Previous pre-opening or new property experience.

 

The budgeted range starts at $68,000 - $80,000.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

 

 

The expected pay range is $68,000 - $80,000/ Per annum + Annual Bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
