Job Summary:
The Skier Services Hiring and Housing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing hiring needs for Keystone Skier Services inclusive of the Ski and Ride School, Guest Service, Scanning and other guest services positions and providing management and supervision within the operations of the ski and snowboard school.

Job Responsibilities:
- Work cohesively with SRS Admin team, Skier Services Leadership team, HR, TAG, and Resort Recruiters to meet hiring needs.
- Create job requisitions, post, and manage the applicant flow in Success Factors.
- Communicate with, interview, and offer/decline positions to applicants. Positions to hire for include but are not limited to: Guest Services positions, Adult/Children’s Instructors (Certified and Non-Certified), Alpine and Snowboard, and Support Staff.
- Create job offers and manage the onboarding process through appropriate tracking.
- Manage a smooth and communicative onboarding for new and returning applicants. (paperwork, background check)
- Work closely with the Training Manager to provide details to New Hires and assist with the processes to ensure new staff are fully on-boarded by the first day of training.
- Responsible for managing the employee housing allotment.
- Assist the Ski & Snowboard School locations with projects and operations as needed, including specialty programs
- Assist the Administration and Training Team as needed, including beginning and end of season duties.
- Assist Ski & Snowboard POD locations with daily operations.
- Forecasting business trends to ensure proper staffing levels throughout the season.
- Work with stakeholders around the Keystone and Vail Resorts.
- Communicate and model the importance of safety.
- Staff communication includes daily morning meetings and instructor messaging for company/department updates.
- Role model and bring to life the company's values of; Serve Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe, Have Fun, and Be Inclusive.
- Promote school, resort, and company initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a Ski and Ride School. Highly recommended: Instructor trainer, Supervisor, or Supervisor Assistant.
- Must have current professional instructor certification
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. Verbal communication in person and via telephone with guests, instructors, and management is required.
Preferred:
- PSIA/AASI certification
- 1-3 years of Keystone Ski and Snowboard School supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of company systems—Peoplesoft, Coupa, SuccessFactors
- Able to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently.
The expected pay range is $20.80/hr - $28.49/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
