Job Summary:
The Sales & Conference Services is a hybrid sales and service role responsible for booking and executing weddings, social events, and group programs. This leader manages the entire client journey, ensuring events at Kindred’s venues exceed expectations from first inquiry to flawless delivery. Focused on driving revenue and building pipelines, the role partners with the sales team while managing all aspects of conference, catering, and wedding services. Through detailed planning, creative solutions, and seamless execution, the manager delivers Kindred’s luxury brand promise.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $68,545.70 - $75,000.00 + annual bonus

Pre-Opening Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement catering and sales SOPs to ensure consistency and excellence
- Establish best practices for weddings, conferences, and social event sales and services
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams to create seamless processes and communication standards
- Partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing to design sales strategies, collateral, and service workflows aligned with Kindred’s luxury brand
- Contribute to system builds in Delphi/Amadeus and other event platforms
- Assist in the resort opening practices that position Kindred as Keystone’s premier meetings & wedding destination
Post-Opening Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for weddings, social groups, and conference services from signed contract through on-site execution
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow wedding and social event revenue, including outreach to planners, vendors, and direct clients
- Build strong client relationships, providing personalized service and creative solutions aligned with the Kindred brand
- Create, manage, and communicate detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floor plans, timelines, and contracts
- Oversee accurate catering forecasting and reporting
- Partner with culinary, banquets, AV, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution
- Monitor group and event space inventories to maximize yield
- Represent Kindred Resort at wedding shows, tradeshows, and community events
- Stay current on event trends, luxury wedding preferences, and group market opportunities
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years in hospitality sales or event management (weddings, social events, or conference services)
- Proven selling skills with a track record of converting leads and building client relationships
- Knowledge of event planning, catering, contracts, and event technology; luxury brand experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Delphi/Amadeus or Cvent preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Financial acumen in forecasting, budgeting, and P&L analysis
- Creative, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury pre-opening environment
- Passion for delivering personalized, elevated guest experiences
The expected pay range is $68,545.70 - $75,000.00 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
