Job Specifications:

• Housing: Currently Available 
• Starting Wage: $25.25
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

Maintain and operate the snowmaking pump and compressor systems to maximize production and efficiencies. Monitor available resources and communicate integral operational information to the on hill snowmaking and other adjacent staff.  Work with Team lead, Supervisor, and Manager to understand operational plans while firing up, maintaining, and shutting down the snowmaking system.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all snowmaking policies, safety guidelines and best practice procedures at all times.
• Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures.
• Understand safe and efficient operation of all snowmaking equipment.
• Understand all standards, enterprise best practices, and safety procedures as instructed and outlined in the operational manual.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain electronic snowmaking monitoring systems and equipment.
• Effective, regular, and continuous communication between shifts, team leadership, and adjacent teams within the resort.
• Proper reporting and careful monitoring of snowmaking production and material resource consumption. (i.e. water, electricity, etc.)
• Assist with standard snowmaking duties and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Fan gun maintenance and troubleshooting skills. 
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• High School Diploma/ GED or Equivalent
• 5 years prior grooming experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License without restrictions is required
• Must be able to read, write and understand English
• Ability to ski or snowboard at a level 6 ability if necessary
• Complex understanding of snowmaking monitoring systems and snowmaking operations

The budgeted range starts at $25.25.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
