Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range $20.00 - $26.44 / hour
  • Shift and Schedule Availability: Full Time

 

Job Responsibilities – Beginner / Some Experience:

  • Ability to assist with drywall installation and painting, wall/ceiling patching and repair.
  • Ability to assist with basic plumbing repairs utilizing and learning various materials and systems.
  • This position will require basic familiarity with carpentry and woodworking with the ability to safely use typical shop tools (table saw, chop saw, drill press, etc.).
  • Ability to assist with basic HVAC system maintenance such as fan and filter replacement.
  • This position will be required to participate in tasks that require teamwork as well as to function as part of a team when necessary. Professional collaboration with other departments on the resort such as Grounds and Hospitality will sometimes be required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all maintenance areas and the organization of such.
  • Ability to work outside.
  • Basic computer and communications literacy, ability to receive and respond to company e-mail, receive and send text messages, etc. is required.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned or requested including obeying safety policies and procedures and attending and presenting safety trainings.
  • Willingness to learn new Trades skills with the potential to advance to the following positions:

 

Job Responsibilities – Advanced / Mechanical:

  • Perform repairs on electrical and gas equipment, wiring, circuit boards, motors, kitchen equipment, ovens, fryers, steamers, etc.
  • Analyze problems with heating and cooling units from the cooling tower through the heater for the cooling tower water, keeping the temperature of the water correct.  Also, taking care of heaters in the rooms, closets, common areas, etc.
  • Perform maintenance of refrigeration systems.
  • Identify various code violations and safety hazards.
  • Maintain boilers throughout the company.
  • Assist in recommendation and installation of new equipment.
  • Responsible for testing, maintenance, and operation of the CBMR on –mountain   water systems. Monitoring, testing and record keeping must be done in compliance with local and state and EPA regulation. Responsible for communications with Colorado Department of Health.
  • Maintain sanitary facilities including on mountain sewer system, outhouses, pit toilets, building plumbed toilets, drains and pump stations.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned or requested including obeying safety policies and procedures and attending and presenting safety trainings.

 

Job Responsibilities – Advanced / Carpentry:

  • Ability to self direct and plan small tasks and projects such as constructing a wood framed drywall wall, including the ability to calculate material quantities.
  • This position will be required to identify tasks that require teamwork as well as to function as part of a team when necessary. Professional collaboration with other departments on the resort such as Grounds and Hospitality will sometimes be required.
  • Ability to skillfully execute drywall installation and painting, wall/ceiling patching and repair.
  • Ability to install and repair doors and commercial door hardware, or willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to learn new Trades skills.
  • Skill with carpentry and woodworking with the ability to safely use typical shop tools (table saw, chop saw, drill press, etc.).
  • Familiarity with and ability to comply with OSHA requirements for safety when working at height, for example on roofs and ladders, and compliance with all safety policies that affect daily work.
  • Ability to work outside and in challenging environments.
  • Basic computer and communications literacy, ability to receive and respond to company e-mail, receive and send text messages, etc

 

Job Requirements: 

  • High School Education, Some college preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to speak English
  • Ability to ski/ride to work locations preferred but not required
  • Must be able to lift 25-50lbs
  • Work both indoor and outdoor
  • Ability to work some Evenings, Weekends, and some Holidays

 

 

 

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $26.44. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
