Job Summary:
The Lead Banquet is responsible to provide quality banquet services to all banquet guests. Responsibilities are planning of events, setup, ensuring prompt and accurate service, anticipating the needs of all guests and cleanup of all banquet facilities.

Set up banquet rooms exactly as contracted on BEO: this includes chairs, tables, staging, skirting of tables, water stations, buffets, etc.
Lead set up team in execution of job functions
Provides prompt, accurate, professional and friendly food and beverage, setup and conference services to hotel and conference guests.
Performs conference setups daily operations including setting conference rooms, posting signs, refreshes, teardowns, vacuuming, and assorted cleaning. Assists coworkers internally and externally, resort-wide.
Maintains linen and inventories to par levels. Maintains equipment and keeps at par levels.
Maintains all work areas neatly and orderly. Checks banquet area before, during and after shift for proper set & cleanliness. Follows established checklists for opening & closing duties, responsible for security of meeting rooms.
Greet all guests in a courteous and professional manner. Handles multiple guests efficiently. Follows established Brand Standards for banquet setups. Ensures all BEO's are followed and serviced in a timely manner.
Follows all appropriate regulations for Food Service, Safety & Sanitation, MSDS, TIPS ( alcohol service), Fire, Equipment, Chemical Management.

Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Must be able to move heavy banquet equipment and furniture
At least 1 year Food & Beverage experience in a service or set-up position
Conference, banquet, and/or high-volume restaurant experience
Ability to work and maintain a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, holidays, split shifts, etc.
Ability to respond and adapt to last minute changes
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
The expected pay range is $22.00 - $23.48. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
