Job Summary:

Responsible for the oversight of 3 base area Food and Beverage outlets inclusive of our Bar & Grille; Butte 66, Coal Breaker Coffee shop and Spellbound Pizza our quick serve grab and go. With a team of 40+ reporting to you, you’ll strive to provide the experience of a lifetime for both our staff and our guests.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Embrace the core competencies of Vail Resorts leadership methodology through the promotion of a positive work environment, excellent team development and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Managerially responsible for the production and service of a safe, high quality, healthy, food and beverage product.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary outlets through proper HAACP procedures.
  • Responsible for fiscal results of restaurant: including revenue management, cost controls, and cash handling procedures.
  • Hire, train, coach, supervise, support and empower your teams.
  • Attain and maintain budgetary guidelines and goals.
  • Promote positive professional culinary culture throughout the resort


Job Requirements:


  • Familiar with Windows Office, ordering, costing, accounting, and vendor software.
  • Competencies with Restaurant POS, vendor procurement, P&L knowledge
  • Previous work experience totaling at least 5 years in F&B, 3 years F&B management.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in hospitality or F&B management.
  • Must be able to work holidays, evening, and weekends.
  • Completion of background check required


  • Some conversational Spanish.
  • Valid CO. Serve-Safe Certification & TIPS Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or culinary management.
  • Experience working in a high-volume bar/grille environment.
