Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager of Merchandise Planning, this role plays a key role in supporting merchandise planning and pricing operations across retail. The Planning & Pricing Processor is responsible for maintaining weekly and monthly reporting, updating pricing and promotional events, and managing communication tools and platforms. The position works cross-functionally with Buying,Operations, and IT teams to support shared initiatives, troubleshoot inquiries, and assist with tools and processes. Strong attention to detail, comfort with reporting tools, and a collaborative mindset are key to success.

Job Responsibilities:
- Execute weekly Merchandise Planning reports and monthly Open-to-Buy updates.
- Own ad hoc reporting and analysis using tools like Silvon and Excel.
- Support monthly pricing cycle, including preparing pricing files, coordinating submission collection from stakeholders, and implementing approved price changes within pricing management systems.
- Support the programmatic setup of promotional pricing offers; partner with Specialists and IT to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain shared communication platforms including SharePoint and Emma Communications.
- Troubleshoot store and buyer inquiries related to planning and pricing via shared inboxes.
- Maintain content and documentation across routine tasks and projects.
- Participate in training sessions and support onboarding of new team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reporting and tool enhancements.
- Establish relationships and work with Merchants, Marketing, Data, and Operations Team across various Planning and Pricing tasks.
- Additional Merchandise Planning & Price Management projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Retail experience in merchandise planning, operations or buying preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites - required
- Advanced skills in Excel - including pivot tables, advanced formulas and data manipulation
- Strong understanding of retail financial measures
- Proficient in SQL and DB2 database tools – preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail with sound analytical skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Light programming knowledge including VB Macros and MS Access - preferred
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $20.00/hr - $23.69/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
