Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Market Development Manager to lead growth across VRR’s walk-in and indirect channels, including Group, Wholesale, SRS Attachment, and Referral programs.

This role will develop and execute in-resort and City location marketing and activation strategies to drive VRR’s rental growth and expand market share. You will serve as the market insights lead, collaborating with teams across Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and Operations to bring strategies to life and measure impact.

As part of a high-performing team focused on business growth, you will help strengthen existing channels and explore new opportunities. Success requires a growth-oriented, innovative thinker with strong collaboration and execution skills.

 

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $69,000 - $75,000 + annual bonus 
  • Employment Type: Year Round

Job Responsibilities: 

Strategic Planning:

  • Lead the reimagination and execution of City and in-resort marketing strategies to drive traffic into VRR’s rental and retail locations and maximize guest acquisition.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to strengthen existing initiatives and unlock new growth.
  • Lead execution of the strategic marketing plan to drive market share growth across target customer segments and geographic regions.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies that align with long-term growth priorities and deliver measurable results.

Project management:

  • Develop and deploy integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, in-store, and partnership channels to increase brand visibility and customer acquisition and conversion.
  • Be the main point of contact for field leadership on ideation and execution of City and regional marketing opportunities.
  • Manage budget and resource allocation to optimize campaign performance and ensure efficient use of marketing spend.
  • Provide the regional playbook for in-market strategy directives

Reporting and Insights:

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to assess effectiveness of marketing initiatives and inform future strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Analytics, and Operations teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with broader business initiatives and align with resort branding.
  • Show up as a leader that fosters and supports a high performing team and culture focused on innovation, accountability, and results.

  

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, relationship management
  • 3+ years of leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Word Suite, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passion for marketing, business development and innovation
  • Strong business acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving profitable business results
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to achieve desired results in a fast-paced, highly competitive, multi-tasking environment
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to tell compelling stories
  • Strong communicator who can provide and receive feedback
  • Inspirational leader with the ability to form effective internal and external business partnerships that influence the business
  • Ability to think strategically, understand complex business challenges and formulate effective solutions designed to improve results
  • Experience setting a shared vision and direction and building the excitement needed to influence a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Design briefing, advertising creation

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $69,000 - $75,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
