We seek a Sales Manager focused on exceeding revenue targets, committed to team support and actively participates in leadership opportunities.  The ideal candidate will align seamlessly with our sales strategic objectives and embrace Vail Resorts' vision, mission, and priorities. Job Responsibilities:

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who can: 

  • Solicit, close, and contract group business using strong negotiating skills and creative selling techniques in order to achieve and exceed team and individual goals.
  • Develop thorough working knowledge of all Vail, Beaver Creek and Crested Butte owned and operated venues and activities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future booking success via sales calls, client entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
  • Partner with the Service and Operations teams to provide a customer experience that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Provides customer intelligence in evaluating market economic trends, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, supply and demand, etc., and know-how to sell against them and may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Attend internal stakeholder meetings as assigned to drive resource efficiency and report on business updates.
  • Contribute to the health and strength of a dynamic team culture.
  • Embrace and contribute to an Enterprise-wide culture of leadership.
  • Pivot to support cross-enterprise priorities as needed.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven success in a similar role and environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Work Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
  • Experience within Delphi FDC (training will be provided to the right candidate.)
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Flexibility to travel in the resort as needed (transportation is the employee's responsibility.)
  • Phone required for client-facing roles – phone plan is available (candidate must either opt into company plan or assume responsibility for a business phone solution.)
  • Company-use IT Technology Kits are provided for job requirements of corporate remote employees. Any additional items will be at employees’ expense.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $55,000 - $73,776. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
