Job Summary
The Senior Analyst – Planning & Scheduling is a key contributor within the Maintenance Centre of Excellence (COE), responsible for developing and optimizing standardized maintenance plans for each asset across the enterprise. This role collaborates closely with site leadership and maintenance teams to ensure maintenance work is effectively scheduled and executed, supporting operational excellence, labor optimization, and continuous improvement. The analyst also leads the delivery and day-to-day monitoring of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) program, providing actionable insights and driving adherence to best practices.

 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Plan Development: Build and maintain standardized and optimized maintenance plans for each asset, ensuring alignment with best practices and operational requirements.
  • Process Standardization: Develop and maintain standardized planning and scheduling templates for maintenance activities.
  • Scheduling & Execution: Collaborate with site leadership and maintenance teams to effectively schedule and execute maintenance plans, optimizing resource allocation and work execution.
  • Training & Best Practices: Train site leadership and maintenance teams on EAM scheduling best practices, ensuring consistent application across all locations.
  • Backlog & Adherence Tracking: Manage enterprise maintenance backlog and monitor plan adherence, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Capacity Alignment: Ensure technician capacity is aligned with work demand, adjusting schedules as needed to meet operational requirements.
  • Work Prioritization: Collaborate with site leadership to prioritize critical work and ensure timely completion of high-impact tasks.
  • OEE Program Delivery: Responsible for the delivery and day-to-day monitoring of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) program, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Reporting: Report on plan compliance, labor utilization, and OEE metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Data Insights: Provide planning insights and analytics to the COE dashboard, supporting data- driven decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance work management, scheduling protocols, EAM systems, and OEE principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and data analysis tools.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to train and support site leadership and maintenance teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience with enterprise asset management (EAM) systems, maintenance analytics, and OEE programs.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training.
  • Experience in a multi-site or enterprise maintenance environment.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $70,944.80 - $93,494.73 + Annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
