Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lodging and Lines of Business Sales Manager who excels in leading with a solid commitment to team support and actively participates in leadership opportunities. Job Responsibilities:
- Execute incoming lines of business and lodging group sales lead conversion process, including evaluating, qualifying, and quantifying material leads, engaging with clients, and developing timely proposals while working with internal stakeholders to meet and exceed customer preferences while following Vail Resort’s increase ancillary and lodging revenue strategy.
- Develops and maintains productive business relationships with lodging partners and Destination Management Companies to increase group lines of business sales across the Enterprise when needed and with a focused effort at Park City Mountain Resort.
- Focus on building relationships with key stakeholders, attend internal stakeholder meetings, report business updates to team, and develops thorough working knowledge of Park City Mountain Resort and other Vail Resorts owned and operated lodging, activities such as lift tickets, ski school, mountain dining, venues, etc.
- Achieve and exceed team and individual goals, which include revenue and competency targets. Work with the sales teams and appropriate stakeholders to evaluate and close the best opportunities based on market conditions and Resort needs.
- Solicit, close, and contract group business using strong negotiating skills and creative selling techniques.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future booking activities, including sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Conduct remote and on-site training representing assigned resorts, including arranging site tours and FAM experiences for our clients, team, and partners.
- Assist with product promotions, fulfillment, or troubleshooting within assigned resorts or for any assigned accounts.
- Other duties and support of enterprise team may be required.
Job Requirements:
- Proven success in a similar role and environment.
- Any combination of education and sales training may also be considered.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Work Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Experience within Delphi FDC (training will be provided to the right candidate.)
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Candidate must be a resort-based employee in Park City Mountain Resort.
- Flexibility to travel around Park City Mountain Resort as needed (transportation is the employee's responsibility.)
- Phone required for client-facing roles – phone plan is available (candidate must either opt into company plan or assume responsibility for a business phone solution.)

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $58,461-$65,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
