Job Summary:

The Digital Experience Manager role is responsible for shaping, delivering, and continuously improving Vail Resorts' digital guest experiences across both the My Epic App and web platforms. This role translates strategy into execution by partnering with engineering, analytics, marketing, and business teams to define priorities, guide delivery, and ensure experiences are intuitive, measurable, and aligned across mobile app and web touchpoints.The position focuses on driving engagement, supporting ecommerce growth, and reducing friction across the guest journey, while helping evolve both platforms into more cohesive planning and transactional experiences.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $79,531.16 - $103,535.40 + annual bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and optimize guest-facing features within the My Epic App that support mountain experiences and commerce outcomes.
  • Support feature discovery, backlog refinement, and release execution alongside engineering and cross-functional partners.
  • Write clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to enable efficient product delivery.
  • Use analytics and reporting to monitor feature performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and task completion.
  • Help ensure a cohesive guest experience across native mobile and web touchpoints through thoughtful execution and attention to detail.
  • Support ecommerce experiences by helping improve digital funnels, purchase influence, and post-purchase interactions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and Lines of Business partners to support content, messaging, and activation within the app.
  • Assist in maintaining product documentation, instrumentation alignment, and feature-level clarity as the app evolves.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, Human-Centered Design, Computer.
  • Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 3-4 years of experience in product management, digital experience, digital marketing, or a related role.
    supporting consumer-facing digital products.
  • Experience contributing to mobile app and/or web-based experiences, with exposure to ecommerce or
    transactional environments preferred.
  • Experience working in cross-functional agile teams and influencing without direct authority preferred.
  • Jira or similar agile workflow tools.
  • Figma or similar design collaboration platforms.
  • Analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, GA, or similar).
  • CMS platforms (Contentstack or similar).
  • In-app and web messaging tools (Airship or similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex concepts into
    clear, concise messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple workstreams and prioritizing competing demands.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, analytics, marketing, and business stakeholders.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working on native mobile applications.

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $79,531.16 - $103,535.40 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment where employees living within 50 miles of the Broomfield office work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.  Employees living outside of a commutable distance can work remotely from British Columbia, Washington D.C., and the 16 U.S. states* in which we currently operate.
