Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Real Estate Development, the Development Analyst, Real Estate will provide critical project management and financial support across the Real Estate Division. This includes supporting new development opportunities, managing cross-functional workstreams, and helping advance the Company’s employee housing strategy. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in real estate project management from early planning and entitlement phases through execution, and be comfortable managing consultant teams, creating detailed pro formas, and tracking development milestones. This role is highly cross-functional and requires frequent collaboration with Finance, Legal, Operations, and external partners.

 

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $86,000 - $110,000 + annual bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Real Estate team in developing and executing long-term strategies for the Company’s land and development portfolio.
  • Lead or support day-to-day project management on select development initiatives, including consultant coordination, permitting timelines, internal milestone tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide analytical and strategic support for the Company’s Employee Housing strategy, including evaluating development feasibility, managing master lease analyses, and supporting site selection.
  • Prepare and evaluate detailed real estate development pro formas, mixed-use P&Ls (including hotel components), ROI analyses, and residual land value assessments.
  • Coordinate the hiring and oversight of 3rd party consultants, including brokers, planners, engineers, architects, and surveyors.
  • Help manage entitlement and permitting processes in collaboration with internal teams and local jurisdictions.
  • Assist with the sale or monetization of non-strategic assets such as residential parcels or condo units.
  • Track development project schedules and budgets, identify risks or issues, and propose solutions in real time.
  • Manage due diligence materials and pre/post-close activity for real estate transactions.
  • Partner with Fixed Assets to track and manage book value of owned real estate assets.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, provide concise meeting recaps, and support internal reporting requirements.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and other assignments, as requested.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: 4-year college degree in real estate, finance, urban planning, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience (or 3+ years with an advanced degree/certification) in real estate development, project management, finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing real estate development projects from pre-development through delivery, ideally in resort, hospitality, or mixed-use settings.
  • Experience in financial modeling and evaluating investment returns.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Prior experience working in or around resort/mountain communities is a plus.

 

Preferred skills:

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive execution.
  • Familiarity with land use planning, permitting, and entitlement processes.
  • Proficiency in real estate finance and development underwriting.
  • Comfort reviewing contracts, LOIs, and leases; familiarity with deal structuring and negotiations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear and actionable plans.

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $86,000 - $110,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
