The Senior Manager of Investor Relations serves as a key strategic partner to the Vice President of Investor Relations in shaping and executing the Company's investor relations strategy. This individual leads the development of earnings-related communications, investor messaging, market intelligence, and investor engagement activities that support the Company's long-term valuation and capital markets objectives. The role requires a strong combination of financial acumen, strategic thinking, executive communication, and relationship management skills. This position reports to the Vice President of Investor Relations, has direct exposure to the CFO, and manages the Company’s communications and reputation with the investor community.

 

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $112,000 - $158,000 + Annual Bonus

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for investors and analysts, establishing and managing external relationships, coordinating meetings and calls with the investment community, and effectively communicating the Company’s strategy and financial position to investors and analysts
  • Lead the development of key investor communications, including quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, conference content, talking points, Q&A materials, and other external communications
  • Monitor and maintain deep knowledge of analyst models, consensus expectations, investment debates, and key drivers of valuation
  • Analyze investor feedback, analyst research, ownership trends, valuation metrics, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, Communications, Marketing, and operational leaders to support consistent and effective external messaging
  • Support development and execution of the Company's long-term investor relations strategy, including investor targeting, shareholder engagement, perception monitoring, and measurement of program effectiveness
  • Coordinate investor events including Investors Conference, roadshows, conferences, and investor meetings and calls

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, FP&A, strategy, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, financial statement analysis, valuation methodologies, and investor communications
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear and compelling messages
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $112,000 - $158,000 + Annual Bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
