Job Summary:
Vail Resorts is seeking an experienced Senior Paid Media Specialist to join our Omni-Channel Marketing team in Broomfield, Colorado. This role is critical to developing and executing paid media strategies that drive results across both Brand and Performance campaigns, supporting multiple lines of business. The Senior Paid Media Specialist will lead end-to-end paid media planning and execution across a diverse mix of channels, including display, native, video, social, OOH, and emerging platforms. This role requires a data-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and close cross- functional collaboration to optimize performance, increase brand awareness, and drive customer acquisition.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to develop paid media strategies aligned with business objectives and performance goals 
  • Support budget allocation, media mix optimization, and KPI planning to drive growth 
  • Collaborate with Activation teams to monitor performance, deliver reporting, and identify optimization opportunities across Brand and Performance campaigns 
  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships, providing clear communication on media plans, performance, and recommendations 
  • Identify and execute testing initiatives (e.g., brand lift, incrementality, creative testing) to generate actionable insights
  • Partner with Audience and Stakeholder teams to develop full-funnel targeting strategies 
  • Stay current on platform capabilities, industry trends, attribution approaches, and best practices across paid media channels 
  • Proactively recommend improvements to campaign setup, measurement, and go-to-market processes 
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Business teams, Creative, Analytics, Communications, Marketing Operations, and external agencies
 
Job Requirements: 
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic, social and search media landscapes
  • BA or equivalent with emphasis on coursework in marketing, advertising, or paid media a plus
  • 2-4 years of Paid Media experience, proven experience managing multi- channel digital advertising campaigns with significant budgets.
  • Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A self-motivated drive to learn & strong openness to feedback.
  • Organizational prowess to track a high volume of deliverables and priorities.
  • Ability to analyze raw data and formulate insights to tell a meaningful story to stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presenting skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and demonstrated critical thinking ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands on experience in the following tools a plus: Tableau, Smartly, Meta, The Trade Desk, Innovid, Google Ads, Jira

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $63,431.73 - $85,359.15. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
