Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Senior Manager of Company Communications to lead storytelling and PR campaigns to build awareness and understanding of our business and our values-driven work. In collaboration with colleagues from across the business, you will craft messaging, build PR strategies, and advise leadership on a variety of complex announcements and initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, this is a high impact role with lots of opportunity to think creatively and tell important stories. This role also serves as a leader on the company communications team, which oversees external PR and employee communications.
The ideal candidate is an agile and highly motivated, well-seasoned communications professional that possesses sound judgment and impeccable writing skills. This position offers an incredible opportunity to create highly impactful executive communications for one of the largest players in the Travel + Leisure space. This role will also guide the continued establishment of our Company Communications team, standardizing process, building templates, formalizing messaging, and more.
You will play a leadership role on the Communications team, a central function responsible for promoting Vail Resorts and its values; each of our world-class resorts; and the product that provides guests with unrivaled access to all of them, the Epic Pass. As the supervisor of a PR Manager, you will be expected to develop strong leaders through coaching and professional development.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $89,100.00 - $120,000.00 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
