Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Organizational Capability, the Senior Manager, Change & Culture is responsible for designing and executing human-centered change and culture strategies that reinforce our mission and values, drive measurable business outcomes, and foster engagement in times of transformation. As part of the Organizational Capability COE, this role focuses on building scalable, human-centered change and culture products, processes, and experiences that enable leaders and teams to successfully navigate transformation and embed a values-driven, high-performance culture. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the Sr Manager will ensure connection and alignment to our culture and successful adoption of critical changes that drive business outcomes. This role will operate as an enterprise enabler—partnering closely with business, HR, and functional leaders to ensure change and culture are not episodic efforts, but integrated, repeatable capabilities across the organization.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $115,000 - $130,000 + annual bonus 

  • Employment Type: Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

Enterprise Change Enablement

  • Enable a cohesive, enterprise change strategy that supports strategic transformations, operating model shifts, and priority initiatives.
  • Evolve a standardized change management framework, toolkits, and playbooks that enable consistent, high-quality change execution across the organization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on leading through complexity, ambiguity, and transformation.
  • Ensure change approaches are human-centered, data-informed, and aligned to business outcomes.

Culture Strategy & Activation

  • Translate the company’s mission and values into actionable culture strategies, experiences, and behaviors at scale.
  • Partner with leaders and HR teams to embed desired cultural norms into core people processes, leadership expectations, and ways of working.
  • Design mechanisms to measure, monitor, and evolve culture, including engagement, adoption, and behavior-change indicators.
  • Enable leaders to lead culture activation efforts during periods of transformation to reinforce trust, clarity, and engagement.

COE Product, Process & Experience Design

  • Operate as part of a Center of Excellence that builds best-in-class change and culture products (frameworks, tools, diagnostics), processes (governance, intake, prioritization), and experiences (leader and employee-facing moments that drive adoption).
  • Bring outside-in thinking and best practices to the organization to inform our products, processes, and experiences. Monitor trends, maintain subject matter expertise, and drive continuous improvement in all areas of change and culture. 
  • Continuously improve COE offerings using feedback, data, and evolving business needs.

Enablement & Capability Development

  • Enable leaders, HR partners, and functional teams with the capability, tools, and confidence to lead change and reinforce culture in their day-to-day work.
  • Shift the organization from bespoke change support to scalable, reusable solutions that empower leaders to lead change independently.
  • Partner closely with HR and business teams to ensure alignment and seamless employee experiences.
  • Balance enterprise standards with flexibility to meet the needs of diverse business units and geographies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR, change management, organizational effectiveness, or employee experience
  • Deep knowledge of change management and culture principles, methodologies, and tools. Ability to develop the strategy and enable others to execute.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and facilitating engaging experiences for a cross-functional audience
  • Tech savvy, self-starter with a drive for excellence, comfortable navigating various systems and can “self-teach”
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build strong working relationships
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, proven ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Experience managing complex projects, problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience leading multiple projects on time and on budget
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $115,000 - $130,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
