Job Summary:

The Breckenridge lift maintenance team is currently seeking qualified lift electrical professionals to join our lift maintenance team. Along with other members of a team, the qualified candidate will perform routine, emergency and preventative maintenance as well as troubleshooting on a variety of electrical, electro-mechanical, industrial control systems and commercial equipment including low voltage AC controls, DC controls, motors and drives. Will also assist other maintenance personal with the implementation of maintenance programs and capital projects. Job functions include updating schematics, and installing electrical and electronic upgrades on ski lifts. Year-round full time outdoor work in mountain environment in all seasons that will involve climbing and working at height on ski lift towers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to assist in installation troubleshooting and repair of lift related Industrial Controls; including PLC’s, VFD, HMI’s, AC and DC motors and industrial communication systems
  • Utilize technical knowledge, skills, and abilities to optimize equipment downtime, working closely with Lift Mechanics 
  • Work independently or as part of a team
  • Root cause failures and take preventive measures to prevent future failures
  • Actively involved in lift emergency procedures and time dependent repairs  
  • Engages around priorities to foster engagement, collaboration, and results 
  • Be able to follow safety and risk management policies and procedures 
  • Supports the professional growth and development of employees across all levels of the organization 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year Degree in Electronics or Electrical
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial controls experience
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Experience with three phase 480V AC and 24v DC
  • Experience trouble shooting and with use of DMM and Oscilloscope
  • Experience with industrial communication networks
  • Must have or ability to obtain a valid US driver's license 
  • Ability to work efficiently at heights 
  • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds 
  • Able to work outdoors in adverse mountain winter weather conditions  
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evening shifts, overtime, etc.  
  • Intermediate ski/snowboard ability preferred 

 

The expected pay range is $24.00/hr - $34.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
