Job Summary:
Come join our food and beverage leadership team as Assistant General Manager, responsible for maintaining/improving the quality of the dining and meeting experience for our lodging and conference guests at beautiful One Ski Hill Place, located at the base of Peak 8. This position reports directly to the General Manager of food and beverage at One Ski Hill Place and is a member of the leadership team of Breckenridge Hospitality Food and Beverage. The position will also assist our Banquet and Catering Services Teams.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead daily Food & Beverage operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve financial and service goals.
Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop front-of-house team members while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
Partner with Culinary, Sales, Conference Services, and Resort Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of dining and event experiences.
Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining service, presentation, and hospitality standards.
Oversee labor management, payroll accuracy, inventory controls, purchasing, and cost management.
Support banquet and special event execution, ensuring all functions are delivered according to client expectations and event specifications.
Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and all company, local, state, and federal regulations.
Promote a safe work environment through consistent training, communication, and adherence to safety standards.
Manage team performance through ongoing coaching, accountability, recognition, and corrective action when necessary.
Ensure facilities, equipment, and service areas are clean, organized, well-stocked, and operating efficiently.
Act as a member of the property leadership team, contributing to the overall success of the resort and lodging operation.
Lead by example with a hands-on, guest-focused approach that inspires teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.

Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent – required
BS Degree is preferred. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
Minimum 3 years Food and beverage experience - required
Minimum 1 years supervisory experience - required
Driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle - required
Experienced and comfortable with computers - required
Experience with Purchasing software & MS office suite - strongly preferred
TIPS certification required within 30 days of employment.
Ability to lift and carry 40+ lbs, walk and stand for 8 hours at a time.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and morning, afternoon or evening shifts with the understanding of longer day for banquet events as business allows.
Must be available to work holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, December 26th through January 2nd, Presidents’ Day Weekend, and any other holidays as requested. – required
Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently. -required
Minimum of 2 year experience in banquets and/or conference services. –preferred
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form to guests, managers and employees. - required
The expected pay range is $57,784.00 - $65,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
