Temperatures can vary but average temperatures during the winter months will fluctuate between  15ºF - 28ºF.

  • We do offer retail discounts to employees but do come prepared with a good pair of winter gloves, boots, hats and warm layers!

SUMMER
Temperatures can vary but average temperatures during the summer months but average temperatures are mid to low 50ºF to highs of 75ºF and above.

Where Is Breckenridge Located?

  • Breckenridge is located two hours west from the Denver International Airport with easy access from I-70

Where Am I going? How Do I Get There?

  • From Denver International Airport (DEN): Breckenridge is 104 miles (166km) from Denver International Airport. Take Interstate 70 west to exit 203. Continue south on HWY 9 to Breckenridge.
  • From Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE): Breckenridge is approximately 63 miles (102km) from Eagle Airport. Take Interstate 70 east to Frisco (exit 203). turn right onto HWY 9 and go south 9 miles to Breckenridge.
  • From Colorado Springs Airport (COS): Breckenridge is 110 miles (178km) from Colorado Springs Airport. Take HWY 24 west. At Hartsel, take HWY 9 north approximately 33 miles to Breckenridge.
  • The easiest way to get from DIA to Breckenridge is by shuttle – try http://www.coloradomountainexpress.com. As a Vail Resorts employee you receive 50% off. Please speak with your manager for more information.

Where Can I Park?

  • All active winter and year round employees will be eligible to park in the South Gondola Lot (Winter) or North Gondola Lot (Summer) for free by simply registering their vehicle with Breck Park
  • Please ensure that you have completed the necessary steps on Breckpark.com. It is a quick and simple 5 minute process-
  1. 1) Log on to https://www.breckpark.com/
  2. 2) Create an account or log into your existing account.
  3. 3) Click on “Permits’ and then “Breck Ski Resort Employee Permits”
  4. 4) Add personal details and vehicle details as requested*

*As a reminder, please do not sign up for a parking pass until your employee ID is active for the winter.

After all of the steps have been completed, your registered vehicle will be eligible to park in our South Gondola Lot without visiting a pay station or the Breck Park App. Allow 24 hours for your parking permit to be active within the Breck Park system.

Please understand that upon separation/SIS the employee parking permit will be terminated as well.

What Will I Need To Wear While Working?

  • For some of the jobs here, Breckenridge will equip you with a uniform which could include snow pants, a soft shell and ski jacket, and a beanie. Certain pants or shoes may be required for certain positions and your manager will inform you upon hire. Skiing & Riding positions require you to provide your own ski/snowboard equipment.

Does Breckenridge Offer Direct Deposit?

  • Yes! Here at Breckenridge Ski Resort you can have your paychecks directly deposited into your bank account. No more bank lines! Just log in to my.vailresorts.com, “Take Action,” choose “My Pay, Pay Options , and then enter your bank account information. Your checks will begin to deposited within 4 weeks (2 pay cycles). You will receive paper checks until the direct deposit is fully processed.

In Order To Start Working At Breckenridge Ski Resort, What Documentation Will I Need To Show?

  • One form of identification that establishes both identity and employment eligibility (i.e., U.S. Passport, Certificate of Naturalization, Permanent Resident Card, etc.). Original documents only
  • OR One form of identification that establishes identity (i.e., a Drivers License, School ID, US Military Card, etc); Originals only
  • AND One form of identification that establishes employment eligibility (i.e., US Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, etc.). Original documents only
