Job Summary:

In house medical staff for our in-house aid station. They take care of any walk in Pt and transported Pt by Ski Patrol to the Aid Station. They treat and triage Pt and decide the best appropriate care. If the Pt needs transported to the hospital they make the arrangements for transport. This team is not on Ski's but takes care of any emergency in the base area and lodges

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $24.00/hr - $29.05/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026

  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with team members and staff regarding medical training and supplies
  • Organize and document early season, rookie, and mid-season training
  • Inventory, order, and stock medical supplies, track spending within the budget. Propose an annual supply budget.
  • Organize and delegate staff members to assist in training and supplies
  • Work with word, PowerPoint, and excel documents
  • Oversee proper functioning and stocking of medical equipment.
  • Stay abreast of changes in state and local regulations and protocols as they affect the medical practice of the staff.
  • Maintain an accurate copy of medical protocols and medical tasks and update as necessary;
  • update medical equipment as indicated by protocol/standard changes
  • Maintain a relationship with the medical center and attend trauma meetings
  • Verify medical training of new hires and track expiration dates for staff.
  • Communicate with physician advisor and arrange regular CQI meetings
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Intermediate Ski Patrol background- required
  • Must obtain EMT-B certification within one year of promotion – required
  • Certified as a medical instructor – preferred.

The expected pay range is $24.00/hr - $29.05/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
