The Administrative Assistant & Receiving Clerk will provide administrative support to the base area management team and employees.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answers telephones, transferring to appropriate staff member/department as well as email correspondence.
  • Maintains a clean and safe office environment
  • Tracks safety meetings for departments.
  • Assist with getting quotes, balancing budgets, and any other purchasing needs.
  • Maintains filing system (data entry, record maintenance, scanning documents, etc.)
  • Receive and log all packages..
  • Contact departments regarding shipments.
  • Assists with payroll entry, adjustments, and audits
  • Maintains organized filing system for shipments.
  • Assists with Lift Ops needs when requipred.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Educational Requirements (HS Diploma or GED).
  • Be able to lift 40lbs.
  • Be willing to complete forklift training.
  • General office managerial experience plus at least 1 year of administrative experience. 
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills and great guest relations. 
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software programs as needed
  • Must be well organized, punctual, and capable of independent judgment. 
  • Must be able to communicate well with department managers, employees, outside agency representatives, and guests.
  •  Must be a self-starter
  •  Must have the drive to stay out front of the Base Operations Leadership Team

 

Preferred skills:

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree from an accredited University.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in office administration..
  • Snowsports background and passion for the industry
