Job Summary:

The Wellness Supervisor (WS) is a member of the Vail Resorts Employee Housing team focused on execution of the Vail Resorts Wellness Strategy in Employee Housing to meet current and future needs. This person will help guide Employee Housing staff and residents to provide an Experience of a Lifetime, which includes crafting a safe, inclusive and vibrant housing environment. Build an encouraging environment to help guide through challenges and transitions. This individual will help partner with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including business leaders, employees, and community resources.

  • Starting Wage: $52,000.00 - $71,260.80

Job Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the Vail Resort Wellness Manager responsible for executing and supporting the Vail Resorts wellness strategy in employee housing for current and future success.
  • Supervise and deliver wellness programs across the Resort(s) ensuring aligned with enterprise-wide strategy.
  • Elevate experience for residents/employees and housing staff while driving the Employee Value Proposition.
  • Build a safe, fun and diverse housing culture that helps provide employees an experience of a lifetime.
  • Help residents navigate transitions and offer resources around mental/physical wellness
  • Builds, manages and tracks resident support cases.
  • Partner internally with Employee Relations, Wellness Manager, HRBP and Housing and externally through community resources to help employee best navigate concerns and challenges.
  • Manage internal relationships including local Housing Teams, Housing Champions, HRBP’s, COO’s.
  • Assist in crafting and managing relationships with community partners, mental health resources and law enforcement.
  • Ensure communication with all partners including VR leadership and housing teams and residents.
  • Execute communication plans, deliver local communications.
  • Align with other Wellness Supervisors in Employee Housing on initiatives, trainings and programming and Participate in Enterprise-Wide Housing Initiatives and Teams.
  • Execute and adhere to local budget.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications:

  • University/College Degree Preferred
  • Experience with high risk & vulnerable populations
  • Experience with mediation & conflict resolution
  • Experience working with people with mental health challenges
  • Experience in event planning and execution preferred
  • Proficient digital literacy
  • 2+ years supervisory experience

  • Valid Driver's license

  • Proficient computer skills, especially Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint

  • English strong written and verbal mandatory

  • Spanish preferable (US)

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings depending on residents needs and high-volume times
