Job Summary:
A more behind the scenes, computer-based role, you will play a significant part in the flow of food and beverage to our 17 restaurants with the quality of work having a noticeable impact on the operations of the department. You will support the F&B division with daily/weekly/monthly tasks and seasonal project work, involving multiple detailed excel spreadsheets and data analysis skills. Act as a first point-of-contact for our internal and external customers for issues related to ordering, deliveries, inventory and transaction research, responding in a timely and helpful manner, investigating invoices, accruals and supplier payments as needed.
This job is perfect for someone who has experience, studied, or worked within finance, accounting or procurement, and wants to be able to continue their professional development while enjoying the mountains. As a lead you will have more involvement with department decision making, focus and team events.

Job Responsibilities:
- Help to lead a small team in daily procurement operations as well as seasonal projects, ensuring to promote a safe, healthy, fun work environment focused on achieving divisional goals
- Perform order entry, correct coding system tasks including order acceptance and entry, purchase order receiving, transfer/requisition handling, development of order guides, inventory forms, receiving product into Coupa (our in-house procurement system), plus related filing and archiving
- Use advanced excel skills to create and maintain cost of sales, sales data, forecasting documents, plus develop other spreadsheets as required
- Use accounting experience and knowledge to investigate missing payments, products, invoices and accruals
- Ensure daily communication with all involved stakeholders, including but not limited to: outside suppliers, other business units, the F&B warehouse and coworkers. Strive to earn our customers’ business every day, engage our suppliers with integrity and respect
- Manage the electronic mailbox for customer requests; answer the phone and handle customer requests
- With first-tier buyer access you will act as the F&B Procurement Approver for all F&B supplier orders
- Approve, justify and diligently research pricing variances and tolerances where applicable
- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
- System and database maintenance for the F&B department including new item input, pricing updates and recipe systems, recipe costing
- Assist with maintenance and updates of divisional and purchasing office SOPs and training manuals
- Problem-Solving and taking on whatever issues arise to provide optimum service to our units and suppliers
- Coach staff on systems and ordering over the phone and on video calls

Job Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree preferred
- Advanced excel and spreadsheet skills
- Understanding of supply chain, accounting processes and procedures, finance and food and beverage operations is beneficial
- Previous experience in database management with above average proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, previous exposure to Coupa, planful or other large-scale ordering platforms is a bonus
- Excellent customer service skills, strong time management focus, ability to manage multiple tasks, effective written & verbal communication skills, and accurate attention to detail
- Capable coach, a team player who is prepared to work in a demanding and dynamic work environment, can deal with challenging situations, shows highly developed organization and prioritization skills to deal with multiple tasks, tight deadlines and demanding customers
