Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $38.06/hr - $50.75/hr

Job Responsibilities:
- To continually strive to exceed our Guest’s expectations and to create “An experience of a Lifetime” for guests and staff
- To strive and ensure standard setting safety and cleanliness in the shops at all times.
- Work professionally with peers, staff, other departments and public at all times.
- In concert with the management and staff, set the standard and be an example in implementing Vail Resorts, Whistler/Blackcomb and Fleet maintenance Policies.
- Support peers and management in striving towards Fleet Maintenance Vision, Mission, Goals and objectives.
- Support the management in implementing the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of all Vail Resorts’ vehicles at WhistlerBlackcomb, including trucks, busses, snowcats, small power equipment and heavy equipment.
- Be proficient in PeopleSoft and MaintainX computer systems. Word and Excel experience an asset.
- Ensure all aspects of communication are carried to staff including special events, service bulletins, meeting minutes etc.
- Fill in when Supervisor is not available or is on days off
- Daily assigning of workload to the staff.
- Communicate with warehouse / purchasing staff on flow of goods.
- Support the Supervisor to Implement individual and team recognition
- Coach and mentor staff.
- Monitor quality and consistency of repairs on all equipment.
- Liaise with and maintain relationship with suppliers
- Ensuring daily time is accurate and delivered to Maintenance office.
- Responsible for keeping selected information confidential.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Desire to be a leader and work with people.
- Hold a Red Seal Mechanical Trade Certificate with a strong automotive background
- Strong organizational skills.
- Record Keeping-Ability, to ensure accurate records are kept, and highlighted for input by maintenance planning.
- Utmost commitment to team environment.

- Ability to be positive even when the going gets tough.
- Professional attitude with an eye for attention to detail.

- Willingness to attend both mandatory and optional management training.
- Must possess a valid B.C. Driver’s License, and provide a satisfactory “N”-Print driver’s abstract
