Full Time roles are eligible for the above, plus:

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $21.00/hr - $27.20/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: No

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe, timely and efficient opening and closing of the Mountain Operations
  • Answer all incoming calls within 3 rings. 
  • Coordinate with Ski Patrol, Lift and Electrical Maintenance personnel as well as lift operations to ensure safe and timely opening of lifts and zones.
  • Record all times for clearances, lift openings, and lift line status and keep light boards updated.
  • Using set call-out procedures inform all appropriate personnel (maintenance, management, & patrol) as situations arise.
  • Ensure operations documentation is filed and digitally recorded in a timely manner.
  • Review Lift logs to ensure they have been completed and filed accordingly.
  • Geographical knowledge to include major lift zones, locations and how to access those places.  All areas named on trail map and locations of all avalanche sign lines.
  • Demonstrate our core values: Be Safe, So Good, Do Right, Have Fun, Serve Others and Drive Value.
  • Assist Lift Operations where needed.
  • Always show up on time, in uniform, and adhere to the grooming policy!
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

  • Previous mountain operations experience would be an asset
  • Must have strong decision making skills
  • Well developed interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Must be familiar with Radio Protocol
  • Must have basic knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A working knowledge of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains operation procedures a definite asset
  • Proof of clear criminal record check
