Job Specifications: 

  • Housing: May Be Available 

  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.26 / hour 

  • Shift & Schedule Availability:  Full Time

  • Skill Level: Entry 

  

Job Responsibilities: 

  • To be fully aware of all policies and procedures –including safety, accident protocol, personal appearance, and to promote respect for our mountain environment. 

  • To follow the guidelines and safety rules as outlined in the Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain Bike Programs Manual and all DFX safety procedures. 

  • To be responsible for the physical, mental and emotional needs of all children in your care 

  • To attend all mandatory training sessions. 

  • To be enthusiastic and punctual for work. Workday 8:45am - 3:30pm 

  • Be available for Early care and Aftercare sessions as needed (7:45am- 8:45am and 3:30pm – 5:30pm Monday - Friday) 

  • Be available to work 4/5 days a week 

  • Working together as a team with all departments and assisting in other areas/tasks as needed. 

  • Demonstrating our Core Values; Serve Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe, Have Fun 

  • Other duties as assigned 

  

Job Requirements: 

  • Patient, creative & adaptable. 

  • Kitchen/food handling experience. 

  • Canadian Food Safe certification. 

  • Ability to look after upset children. 

  • Experience working with children essential. Experience in daycare setting or Early Childhood Education qualification is an asset. 

  • Intermediate mountain bike skills and ownership of own bike an asset.
