Job Summary:
Work for The Arrabelle! One of Vail Resorts premiere properties located at the base of the Eagle Bahn gondola. Here you will maintain assets inside and outside of guest rooms, owner condos and common areas. Ensure all areas are safe and in perfect working order. This is a supervisory position, which is responsible for ensuring building/grounds are in excellent operating condition. Oversees building maintenance projects.

Job Responsibilities:
- Administer programs involving electrical, mechanical and general construction, repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment. Daily checks of the Building Automation System (JCI) and building mechanicals.
- Assign and verify completion of routine maintenance and operations of physical structure of property, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment which contributes to the safe and affective operation of the facility
- Ensures compliance with company policy on vehicle operation. Perform daily rounds-check boilers, pools, common areas, sprinkler systems, fire pump room, fire panels.
- Visually inspect quality of work and direct staff in task according to performance and productivity standards
- Attend to any work orders, guest requests, housekeeping requests, front desk requests, and room calls.
- Keep track of supplies and fill out requisition for needed supplies
- To carry ladder up and down stairs with required tools (may exceed 20 lbs). May require lifting arms above head and shoulders to work in ceiling (i.e. small leaks, electrical shorts, replace motors).
- Maintain records of all work activities and support materials
- Document engineering work in forms that can be directly applied to billing programAssist with preventative maintenance in common areas, back of house and guest rooms.
- Provide for safe disposal of all waste material.
- Keep track of supplies and fill out requisition for needed supplies.
- Oversee the training, counseling and discipline of engineering staff.
- Manage a team of maintenance techs on days that Building Manager is not available
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

- 5+ years Experience in Maintenance.
- 1-5 years supervisory experience
- Valid CO. License and and certification in Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing a plus.
- Ability to Read, Write, and Speak English. Bilingual a plus.
- Intermediate Computer skills required
- Very good plumbing skills, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Able to work in all environments (indoor/outdoor) and weather conditions

The expected pay range is $24.00/hr - $35.74/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
