Job Summary:
The Adaptive Coordinator supports the Adaptive Program by managing guest intake, coordinating reservations, and ensuring seamless operations. Each coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for one designated community program—Eagle Valley Schools, Foresight, Vail Veterans, or Small Champions—fostering strong partnerships and delivering exceptional experiences for individuals of all abilities. This is an in-person role requiring regular on-site presence to ensure effective coordination and guest support.

Job responsibilities: 

Guest Intake & Reservation Management

  • Collect and verify guest information during the intake process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and confirm reservation requests for adaptive lessons and related services using Vail Resorts systems.
  • Communicate with guests regarding schedules, equipment needs, and program details.

Community Program Liaison

  • Serve as the dedicated point person for one assigned community program (Eagle Valley Schools, Foresight, Vail Veterans, or Small Champions).
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and communication for all activities related to the assigned program.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with partner organizations to support program goals.

Operational Coordination

  • Assist with daily scheduling for adaptive lessons, ensuring proper instructor assignments and resource allocation through the Vail Resorts scheduling process.
  • Support transportation and equipment logistics for guests requiring additional assistance.
  • Monitor adaptive equipment inventory and report maintenance needs.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all adaptive lessons adhere to safety protocols and risk management standards.
  • Support instructors in applying adaptive teaching techniques and maintaining compliance with training requirements.

Team Support & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between the Adaptive Program Manager, Adaptive Supervisor, instructors, and other Ski School departments.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new adaptive instructors.
  • Contribute to program initiatives, events, and outreach efforts.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate records of lesson data, guest feedback, and program metrics.
  • Assist with payroll accuracy and scheduling for adaptive instructors, especially community programs.

Job Requirements: 

  • This position requires regular in-person presence to effectively manage guest interactions and operational needs.
  • Coordinators are expected to work in-office 3-4 days per week, with additional time on-mountain as needed.
  • Proficiency with the Vail Resorts network and scheduling systems is essential for reservations, reporting, and daily operations.

 

The expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $53.50/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
