Job Summary:

The Public Area Attendant at The Arrabelle at Vail Square is responsible for upholding the highest level of cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience throughout all public and shared spaces. This role is essential in maintaining the property’s Rock Resorts standards, ensuring every area reflects the luxury, warmth, and attention to detail expected of the Arrabelle brand.

This position services all front-of-house and designated back of house areas, including the lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, spa and fitness areas, and additional guest facing spaces. The attendant ensures these areas are consistently immaculate, properly stocked, and visually always aligned with the resort’s elevated aesthetic standards.

A strong focus is placed on anticipation and awareness. The Public Area Attendant is expected to proactively identify and resolve cleanliness concerns, respond promptly to guest needs, and maintain a constant presence in public spaces without being intrusive. Attention to detail is critical small touches and consistency are what define the guest experience at this level.

The role requires close coordination with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Engineering teams to report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and any deficiencies that may impact on the guest experience. Professionalism, discretion, and a sense of ownership are essential, as this position operates in highly visible, guest-facing environments.

Success in this role is measured by the ability to consistently deliver a pristine environment, support seamless operations, and contribute to an elevated, luxury guest experience that aligns with the standards of The Arrabelle at Vail Square.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $22.92/hr
• Employment Type: Year Round (11-month) 
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas including lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, and exterior entrances
• Clean and sanitize public and employee restrooms frequently; always restock all amenities
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to ensure a consistently high standard
• Remove trash, recycle, and use linens throughout shift; keep all areas free of debris
• Clean glass, doors, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces to a streak-free finish
• Maintain lobby and guest areas by arranging furniture, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring overall appearance meets luxury standards
• Service specialty areas such as spa, pool deck, and jacuzzi by restocking towels and maintaining cleanliness
• Support cleanliness of event and pre-function spaces as needed
• Monitor exterior areas and entrances; remove snow, debris, and safety hazards as needed
• Report all maintenance and safety issues immediately to leadership or Engineering
• Maintain janitor closets stocked, clean, and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
• Provide a professional, guest-focused presence in all public spaces
• Complete all assigned tasks and ensure areas meet inspection standards before end of shift.
• Any extra projects given by Management

Job Requirements:

• We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to push, pull and lift to 50lbs.
• Good communication and basic English level required.
• This position requires the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $22.92/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
