Job summary:

To administer aspects of new, existing and resigning Vail Mountain Club memberships, membership communication, work closely with sales team and front desk management. To maintain member records and assist with member services to maintain an elite club environment for the clubhouse operation. Timely and accurate interdepartmental communication to enhance the member experience. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to interfacing with Club Operational management duties as assigned and support for member activities and events.

 

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $58,461.98 - $60,000.00

Job responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of administrative procedures enabling Vail Mountain Club to function more efficiently, knowledgeably and accurately.  This requires the ability to think ahead in terms of what information might be needed, how to track it, where to find it, etc. Tasks include working with, Jonas, EMMA, Microsoft Suite, Club House on line, Excel, & Publisher.
  • Build relationships and interact with members to provide a great Club experience and wonderful Social atmosphere. Very strong administration skills required.
  • Knowledgeable in all membership types, dues, qualifications, amenities, membership options/payment plans. Strong management skills and able to lead and flex in busy environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Vail Mountain Club Membership Plan and Rules and Regulations is required both for sharing this knowledge with others and for enforcing the Rules and Regulations.
  • Vail Mountain Club website design and editing. Promote activities and events through verbal communication and written communication.
  • Assist the Club Director with duties as needed or requested. 
  • Must have knowledge of the Vail Valley, Vail Mountain, and surrounding areas. 
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people in the club and in an organized activity setting.
  • Cover all opening/closing/ MOD (manager on duty) as assigned.
  • Create and receive POs Daily club cleaning and closing procedures Work closely with management team. Responsible to understand all manager responsibilities and sometimes required to work in all departments of the Club as assigned.

  • Office Administration, Event and Activities Programming, Group Sales and Services
  • Supervisory Experience 
  • Word, Excel, Publisher, Jonas, Emma, Peoplesoft, Guest Connect, Coupa, Direct Connect
  • English proficiency
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing and highly organized person capable of handling a large volume of detailed and multi-dimensional tasks, knowledge of Vail Valley, outdoor activities, and a self-starter

Preferred: 

  • College Degree
  • Previous Private Club Experience

 

The expected pay range is $58,461.98 - $60,000.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
