Job Summary: 

The Public Areas Team Lead is responsible for the oversight of the Jackson Lake Lodge Public Areas department, including the training, recognition and coaching of six (6) Public Areas Attendants. The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring Jackson Lake Lodge public spaces are cleaned and maintained in accordance with Grand Teton Lodge Company/Vail Resorts Brand Standards. The Public Areas Team Lead frequently interacts with guests of the hotel and is expected to provide exemplary service to all.

 

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $19.00/hr  
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the oversite, training, recognition and coaching of six (6) public areas attendants.
  • Handle administrative task of the Jackson Lake Lodge Public Areas department, including, but not limited to, payroll, scheduling, inventory and ordering of supplies, and safety training,
  • Assume responsibility that all public area work is done correctly and on time.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of Jackson Lake Lodge public spaces in accordance with Vail Resorts/Grand Teton Lodge Company Brand Standards, including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Thoroughly clean all public and back of house restrooms to procedure – including scrubbing floors, stalls, toilets and fixtures daily.
  • Regularly sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors in lobbies, restaurants, front and back of house hallways.
  • Dust and polish all surfaces regularly – including, ceilings, light fixtures, fans, molding, baseboards, furniture and display cases.
  • Complete rotating deep cleaning tasks to ensure Jackson Lake Lodge stays in pristine condition throughout the operating season.
  • Empty trash, recycling and compost bins and sort items as required.
  • Clean Grand Teton Lodge Company offices on a rotating schedule – including dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
  • Ensure storage areas are neatly organized and well-stocked with supplies.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues, track work orders, and follow up with the Engineering department as necessary.
  • Responsible for lighting and maintaining lobby fireplaces on cold days.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Housekeeping or janitorial experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Microsoft Suite
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and motivate a group of people
