Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager leads the retail warehouse and distribution operation supporting Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC) and Flagg Ranch Company. This role ensures the efficient flow of merchandise across 13 retail locations, driving inventory accuracy, strong logistics execution, and overall operational efficiency.

This position is key to delivering a high-performing retail operation through effective SKU organization, streamlined processes, and data- driven decision-making. The Warehouse Manager also fosters a culture of safety, sustainability, accountability, and continuous improvement, aligned with GTLC, Vail Resorts, and National Park Service standards.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $46,000/year
  • Employment Type: Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations & Logistics

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, fulfillment, shipping, and distribution.
  • Manage product flow from vendors to warehouse and across all retail locations.
  • Optimize warehouse organization, SKU management, and overall efficiency.
  • Coordinate inventory movement, store replenishment, and shipping schedules.
  • Partner with buying and retail operation teams to support seamless operations.

Inventory & Performance

  • Maintain accurate inventory across systems and physical counts.
  • Monitor inventory movement, transfers, and stock levels across locations. Create and maintain organizational systems.
  • Use data and reporting to improve productivity, reduce inefficiencies and carbon footprint, and support decision-making.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, train, and develop cross seasonal warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Set clear expectations and drive accountability for performance, safety, and productivity.
  • Support hiring, scheduling, and employee development.

Operations Improvement & Problem Solving

  • Identify, research and resolve operational challenges and inventory issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance overall retail and warehouse performance.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and operational best practices. Maintain Zero Waste Certification and drive sustainability culture.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Working knowledge of windows based programs (Microsoft Office)
  • Prior experience with Retail Point-of-Sale
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written in an effective manner
  • Well groomed and professional appearance

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with inventory systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
