Job Summary:

You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Prepares meat orders for all locations on a daily basis. Ensures the work area is kept in a neat, clean and orderly condition according to federal health policies and standards, Other key responsibilities include putting food product away into coolers and freezers as they arrive and give out meat according to requisition.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $19.25/hr
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures that all butcher shop requisitions are completed daily including listing accurate weights
  • Orderly rotation of stock in the butcher's refrigerator and freezer
  • Maintains the butcher shop and storage rooms in a neat and clean manner
  • Must be flexible and adapt to changes
  • Informs head butchers of item shortages
  • Run the butcher shop in the absence of the head butcher.
  • Help other departments when need arises
  • Attend all trainings and classes as assigned or advised by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or Senior Management

 

Job Requirements:

  • 6 Months Meat Fabrication Experience
  • Supervisory Experience Preferred
  • Basic English

 

Other Requirements:

  • Required to live on property in the assigned housing or employee RV Park

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Multi-outlet resort experience
  • Meat fabrication certificates
  • Knowledge of different kinds of meat, seafood, smoking, brining techniques
  • High volume meat fabrication
