As Chef de Cuisine, you will craft a renowned, seasonally rotating five-course prix fixe menu, utilizing locally sourced ingredients to delight guests in a rustic 1930s log cabin setting. Job Summary:

As key leaders in the culinary team, they oversee kitchen operations while fostering collaboration, ensuring exceptional food quality, and upholding the highest safety standards. At Jenny Lake Lodge, our Chef takes this even further—shaping an extraordinary dining experience so memorable that guests plan their entire year around it.
Job Responsibilities:
Management of the culinary team including time management, scheduling, training and developing teammates.
Maintain standards for facility and food preparation, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Assist with the development, production, and training of menu items.
Resolve guest issues or complaints and hold staff accountable for Guest Experience (GX) scores
Administrative duties as needed including managing inventory, budget, processing transfers and waste
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Culinary degree or certification preferred
ServSafe certification or regional equivalent required
5+ years of kitchen experience required
Some fine dining experience required.
2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shift, lift and/or carry up to 50lbs
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Must be able to communicate fluently in English; bilingual preferred

The expected pay range is $60,000-$66,000 Plus Tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
