Job Summary:
The Irrigation Technician is responsible for use, repair, and maintenance of all irrigation equipment and infrastructure on the golf course.
Irrigation Technicians, under the supervision of the superintendent and assistant superintendent, are to perform routine, semi-skilled, and skilled manual labor tasks involved in golf course maintenance. Irrigation Technicians are expected to serve as team leads and perform work involving proper repair of existing pipe and wire network; proper scheduling of irrigation applications; installation of system upgrades; and supplemental irrigation applications. Each Irrigation Technician may be assigned responsibilities for the maintenance of the golf course and management of the team and completes related work in a safe and time sensitive manner with regard to maximizing efficiency and quality.
