The Concierge at Jenny Lake Lodge is responsible for total guest satisfaction from pre-arrival contact, logistics in the bookings, reconfirmation of guests' reservations, and fully acquainted with local points of interests. This position will communicate with guests and employees both verbally and in writing to answer questions, and provide clear direction in advising and instructing guests in resort details with a focus on luxury service.

 

Job responsabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide a warm a friendly welcome to all guests in the Lodge.
  • Be extremely knowledgeable of GTLC, Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information regarding activities, dining and driving directions for Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone.
  • Make reservations for dining and activities in Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole and Yellowstone.
  • Make Dining Room Reservations for Jenny guests and non-resident guests.
  • Attentively and politely respond to all guest concerns or complaints and follow up to insure the guest has received a satisfactory resolution.
  • Assist guests with purchases in the Gift Shop as well as maintain the inventory of items.
  • Accurately post charges and payments to guest accounts or credit cards.
  • Assist the Front Desk as necessary.
  • Balance sales transactions for the Gift Shop and turn in balanced cashier audit at the end of the shift.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

The “must haves” for this position include: 

  • At least 1 year of guest service experience
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Knowledge of Grand Teton National Park and the Jackson Hole area
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to effectively present detailed information to guests and employees
  • Must be able to work weekends, evening and holidays
  • Flexible schedule required (Willing to work 5-6 days per week, split shifts and willing to pick up extra shifts as needed)
  • Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours at a time

 

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:

  • Concierge experience
  • Experience with Property Management Systems
