The Warehouse Lead operates the warehouse on a day to day basis. This position is responsible for ensuring that shipments and deliveries flow in and out of the resort in a timely, organized and accurate manner. The Warehouse Lead also performs ordering, processing and record-keeping tasks, including receiving, unpacking, and examining goods shipped, and verifying completeness of orders against records. 

 

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain the loading dock facility in a clean and safe condition at all times.
  • Assist vendors and delivery personnel with loading/unloading of shipments
  • Organize all inbound shipments, store and manage inventory as needed
  • Coordinate outgoing/incoming freight shipments
  • Submit purchase requisitions & electronically receive when goods are received
  • Assist departments in finding needed parts and vendors
  • Operate pallet jack, hand truck and other material handling tools
  • Operate the banding machine
  • Operate the USPS mail machine / postage meter. Sort and distribute mail
  • Demonstrate accountability for all stored inventories and track product as required
  • Develop safety protocols and ensure adherence. Lead/participate in all assigned safety meetings
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure our waste reduction and recycling goals are met
  • Ensure adherence to loading dock rules and regulations
  • Maintain the security of the building and its contents
  • Maintain inventory and storage for other departments.
  • Collaborate with other departments operating in the same space
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Lift up to 25 lbs
  • Basic computer skills, MS Office, MS Teams, Email (Outlook), purchasing software, Internet
  • Candidates must have excellent attention to detail, follow through and communicate well with others
